Job Summary

• Responsible for the day to day operations of the laboratory including work assignments, work flow, staff scheduling and competency, oversight of equipment availability and maintenance, protocol and procedure development and establishing and monitoring laboratory QA and compliance with ICAEL and other regulatory agencies.
• Functions in a supervisory role and assumes overall responsibility for the operations of the laboratory including addressing any issues or problems that affect the ability of staff to perform high quality studies with efficiency.
• Ensures compliance with departmental and regulatory policies and procedures and establishes and monitors service and quality measures.
