Job Summary
The Director of Staff Development (DSD) is responsible to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training, in-service education, and a Certification Training Program for nursing assistants.
The DSD also provides direct resident/patient care and works with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Administrator to ensure the highest degree of quality care.
Responsibilities include coordinating staff recruitment, payroll, benefit programs, and conducting drills, while maintaining employee/resident/patient confidentiality.
