This role requires maintaining confidentiality of protected health information and participating in quality assurance programs to improve medication accuracy.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Licensed Medication Aide certification required
Administer oral and topical medications safely
Verify resident identity before medication pass
Document medication administration and refusals accurately
Report medication errors and adverse reactions immediately
Nice-to-have
Maintain friendly working relationships with staff
Participate in quality assurance programs
Cooperate with facility surveys and inspections
Attend continuing education for certification maintenance
Key Requirements
Must possess a high school education or equivalent
Must be a licensed Medication Aide with state approved training
Must successfully complete necessary examination(s) in accordance with state laws
