Job Summary

  • Assist with data collection on the Continuous Forest Inventory (CFI) plots established by PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR).
  • Technologists will find CFI plots using GPS, measure the tree size using DBH tapes, and record the number of crops on selected trees using binoculars.
  • This is a great opportunity to gain experience in conducting forest inventory and quantifying the regeneration potential of PA forests.
