Job Summary
Performs a variety of general laundry and housekeeping/cleaning duties to provide quality laundry service and to maintain the nursing home in a sanitary manner, and free from offensive orders.
Essential duties include making available clean linen, maintaining linen in good repair, collecting laundry, sorting, treating, washing, drying, folding, and delivering clean laundry items to resident rooms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk, read or hear.
