Job Summary
This position functions to coordinate all aspects of patients' pharmaceutical needs in OSUMC outpatient and retail areas.
Duties include but are not limited to: medication order approval and distribution; assurance of appropriate dose, route, frequency and duration of therapy; patient medication profile review for drug-drug interactions, duplication of therapy, drug allergy interactions and appropriate regimens; patient counseling; disease state management; coordination of patients' pharmaceutical needs with physicians and nurses.
This position is also responsible for supervising technicians, undergraduate and graduate student teaching, and providing educational programs for hospital/clinic staff (physicians, nurses and pharmacy staff).

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio
1-3 years’ experience in retail or health system outpatient pharmacy preferred
