Philips is seeking a Director of Inbound Material Supply Chain to lead a team focused on optimizing supply chain operations and aligning material plans with sales forecasts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supply chain management and a strong background in implementing advanced planning systems in regulated environments

Job Summary

  • The Director of Inbound Material Supply Chain is responsible for leading a large supply chain buying/planning team, formulating their strategic directions, evaluating emerging trends, overseeing site-level and some global planning developments, defining improvement opportunities, and advocating supply chain planning principles to drive alignment and optimize performance across the supply chain.
  • This role involves leading a large supply chain buying/planning team and guiding them in aligning sales forecasts with operational material plans, including optimizing predefined stock-level thresholds in factories to ensure operational efficiency while effectively meeting customer demands.
