Job Summary

  • This role offers a creative and motivated student the opportunity to join Intel's Core Group and contribute to the development of next-generation Core CPUs, working on pioneering projects to optimize performance using cutting-edge power-management firmware.
  • The intern will be responsible for defining, designing, coding (C, Python), running, and analyzing innovative core PTP (Power/Thermal/Performance) manager firmware, working through the entire firmware development cycle from Pre-Si to Post-Si activities.
  • The position involves close interaction with Architects, verification, integration, and tools teams, and provides an opportunity to develop expertise with Intel Architecture and Micro Architecture, and be involved in defining new Intel features.

Key Requirements

  • Student towards B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree
  • Minimum of 4 semesters
  • Ability to work at least 27 hours a week
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in firmware/hardware verification and validation
  • Experience in OOP/OOD in C++ and/or Python
  • Familiarity with CPU architecture
