Job Summary

  • Organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs in a variety of sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities designed to help patients regain functioning in mental health, daily living skills and or adjust to their handicaps.
  • Assesses and identifies the patient and/or significant other's educational needs concerning reasons for and expected reactions to treatment, safe use of equipment, home programs, and follow up care.
  • Acts as clinical instructor for occupational therapy and OT assistant students on clinical internship by mentoring, providing supervision, timely feedback and written evaluation of skills.
