Key Requirements

  • Current state EMT certification required
  • BCLS certification required
  • Approved trauma certification within 6 months
  • Valid driver’s license with no more than 6 points
  • SC EMT-B and National Registry EMT required within 90 days
  • Minimum 2 years driver’s license held
  • Completion of Atrium Health driving course
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One-year active field pre-hospital experience preferred
