Job Summary

  • The NC Department of Transportation connects people, products and places safely and efficiently with customer focus, accountability, and environmental sensitivity to enhance the economy and vitality of North Carolina.
  • This position performs technical duties supporting engineers in construction inspection, materials testing, project surveying, and program/regulatory compliance while assisting the Resident Engineer.
  • The employee must apply safety philosophy to all operations and may be subject to emergency callback and inclement weather conditions.
