Kern River Transitional Care Center is seeking a full-time Treatment Nurse responsible for providing skilled dermatologic and wound care services to residents. The ideal candidate should have a valid LVN or RN license, preferably with experience in skilled nursing facilities and dermatologic nursing

Job Summary

  • The Treatment Nurse is responsible for providing skilled dermatologic and wound care services to residents in accordance with physician orders, established protocols, and facility policies.
  • This role works closely with the Medical Director, Director of Nursing Services (DON), interdisciplinary care team, and families to ensure the highest level of resident care, comfort, and safety.
  • Essential duties include performing comprehensive skin assessments, providing therapeutic dermatologic services, and ensuring residents with pressure injuries receive appropriate prevention and treatment.
