Job Summary

  • The Deputy CIO provides executive leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight across all County technology services, with a specialized responsibility for mission-critical public safety and 9-1-1 technology systems.
  • This position is responsible for aligning County enterprise IT services with the operational needs of the Department of Public Safety (DPS), including 9-1-1 emergency communications, public safety communications infrastructure, and emergency management situational awareness systems.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Public Safety Technology, or related field
  • Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in Information systems, cybersecurity, or public safety technology
  • Five (5) + years of technical experience including infrastructure, applications, and security
  • Leadership experience including strategic planning and resource management
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Acceptable pre-employment PA State Police criminal background check
  • Must maintain CJIS clearance
