Job Summary

  • This role drives Enterprise Resilience at Scale by shaping the structure and executive decision-making for BMO's Operational Resilience Program.
  • The position requires heavy use of Power BI for storytelling through analytics to report vulnerabilities and risk management status to the Board.
  • As a hybrid role based in downtown Toronto, the Director will lead a team to ensure the business can operate effectively throughout any incident while meeting global regulatory targets.

Must-have

  • 7-10 years people leadership experience
  • Operational Non-Financial Risk expertise
  • Power BI advanced analytics skills
  • Cyber Security and Fraud knowledge
  • Business Continuity and Incident Management
  • Regulatory compliance framework management

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in 2nd Line of Defence role
  • Global regulatory experience across multiple countries
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on complex projects
  • Knowledge of stress and scenario testing activities

Key Requirements

  • 9+ years relevant experience with post-secondary degree
  • 7+ years in Operational Risk environment
  • 5+ years working across Operational Non-Financial Risk oversight
  • Expertise in conducting stress and scenario testing
  • Certification in CCSA, CISA, CA, CCSP, ISC, BCI, or ITIL (advantage)
