Job Summary
Oversee and manage the environmental services department in our Long Term Care home with a focus on resident and family satisfaction and employee engagement.
Ensure health and safety risks are minimized or eliminated, equipment is maintained, and capital spend and department budget are within established guidelines.
Collaborate with the Executive Director and leadership team, manage a team, ensure compliance with regulations, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Requirements
Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a managerial or supervisor capacity
Experience in environmental services/maintenance in a unionized environment
Knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC
Knowledge and experience related to housekeeping, laundry and maintenance
Must provide a complete and current Vulnerable Sector Check
