BeOne Medicines is seeking a highly motivated Process Chemistry Scientist to join their R&D team in Beijing, focusing on developing life-saving therapeutics for oncology. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry and be able to work collaboratively across various functional areas within the company

Job Summary

  • The successful candidate will independently design and implement innovative chemical syntheses and processes to support our pre-clinical and maturing portfolio.
  • Build, train and supervise cohesive team of 2-3 highly productive process chemists.
  • Steward Tech Transfer of processes to CMOs and oversee/monitor implementation.

Key Requirements

  • M.Sc. Synthetic Organic Chemistry
  • Min. 2-3 years of experience in Process Chemistry
  • U.S. or European Pharma experience preferred
  • Familiarity with modern homogeneous and asymmetric catalysis
  • Basic working knowledge of cGMP requirements and ICH guidelines
  • Experience working with CMOs is a plus
  • Chinese language skills desired
