Job Summary

  • Wood is recruiting for a Senior Process Automation Engineer to be based out of our Melbourne office and on our client’s site to work in our Life Sciences business on high profile pharmaceutical / biotech projects in Australia.
  • The key objectives for this role are to participate in engineering projects in developing Process Automation design and work with other engineers, designers and vendors as required to lead engineering project delivery.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 10 years + of post-graduate experience
  • Proven experience in biotech / pharmaceutical projects
  • Managing various DCS / PLC / SCADA vendors
  • Hardware and software integration into operating facility
  • Projects end to end
  • Partnering with Subject Matter Experts
  • Experience with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, PIC/S compliance
  • Experience with ISA-88 automation platforms
  • Valid work rights in Australia
