Job Summary

  • Respond to patient/physician requests and monitor department supplies to assure continuity in patient care.
  • Perform Planar and SPECT Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing single and dual detector Gamma cameras and properly position patients to obtain high quality images.
  • Competently performs venipuncture and placement of peripheral IV catheters for medication administration, accesses other vascular access devices, and follows correct procedures for handling radioactive materials.
