The primary role and responsibility of the Instrument Technician is to ensure the effective and efficient processing of all reusable medical devices within the policy and guidelines of the Sterile Processing Centre and State and National Standards.

Key Requirements
Certificate III or IV in Health – Sterilisation Services
Completion or working towards a Certificate III or IV
Current National criminal history check
Minimum three (3) months experience as an Instrument Technician
Minimum three years’ experience as an Instrument Technician
Holds a Certificate IV in Sterilisation Services (HLT47015)
