  • Responsibilities include teaching 30 credit hours per academic year, maintaining office hours, advising students, participating in professional development, and maintaining industry skills and ASE certifications.
  • The position requires teaching various diesel technology courses, including diagnostics, theory, powertrains, and specialized systems, as well as arranging for necessary materials and equipment.

Key Requirements

  • Associate degree or appropriate industry-related licensure/credential
  • Competence and experience to develop, revise, implement, and assess curriculum
  • Familiarity with technology used in classroom settings
  • Flexibility to teach day, evening, and weekend classes
  • 5 years of industry work experience
  • Current ASE T-series Certifications (T4, T6, T8, and at least one other T-series certification)
  • Possesses Class A CDL
