Job Summary

• Execute traffic functions with maritime/air lines and carriers, local trucking companies, internal departments and external agencies to assure each shipment is dispatched on time and in compliance with the global transportation standards.
• Responsible to assure shipments documentation and cargo follow the Company policies/procedures and the transportation regulations mode requirements (DOT, IATA and IMDG).
• Participate and lead OE activities that contributes toward the continuous improvement in Logistic operational areas (DMAIC, 5’s, workplace audit, T -Cards, I-Cards, Big C, Tip Plan, Communication Center, etc.).

Key Requirements

• Bachelor Degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Material Management
• Fully Bilingual (English – Spanish)
• Five or more years of experience in Traffic, Shipping, and/or Logistic functions
• Experience working with maritime/air lines and inland carriers, forwarders and brokers
• Up to date DOT, IMDG, IATA courses and certifications
