Job Summary

• The Mental Health Emergency Assessment and Response Team (MHEART) Clinician delivers rapid mental health crisis assessment and intervention as a core partner in the University’s mobile co-responder program.
• Working alongside campus police, the clinician leads after-hours responses to mental health emergencies, provides immediate support to students in crisis or impacted by crime, and ensures timely evaluation, stabilization, and referral.
• The role includes a combination of in-person and on-call coverage, requiring the ability to report to campus quickly, and contributes to one of the nation’s first university-based mobile crisis response models.
