Job Summary

  • This role supports the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project, a flagship initiative focused on large-scale renewable energy assets.
  • The engineer is responsible for assuring cybersecurity compliance and resilience for power generation systems including Solar PV, Wind Turbines, and BESS.
  • Candidates must possess extensive experience in operational technology and validate cybersecurity controls during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 10-15 years OT experience
  • 3+ years ICS cybersecurity design
  • Saudi NCA and HCIS standards knowledge
  • Solar PV and Wind Turbine security
  • BESS and HV/MV substation controls
  • FAT SAT CSAT testing participation

Nice-to-have

  • ISA/IEC62443 accreditation preferred
  • SANS certification preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Microsoft Visio proficiency
  • Experience with Modbus PROFINET protocols

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years OT experience
  • At least 3 years ICS cybersecurity focus
  • Knowledge of Saudi cyber standards HCIS and NCA
  • Proficiency in SCADA DCS PLC systems
