Job Summary

  • The primary responsibility is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty while ensuring adherence to all current federal, state, and local standards.
  • You will be required to assist in developing written policies, maintaining the Nursing Service Procedures Manual, and participating in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies.
  • This role involves ensuring sufficient licensed personnel are available for every shift, delegating authority to Charge Nurses, and monitoring absenteeism to maintain quality care.

Key Requirements

  • Current active RN license in this state
  • Nursing degree from accredited college or university
  • 2 years or more experience in long-term care
  • Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
  • Current CPR certification
  • Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred
