The Clinical Review Pharmacist shall assist the Supervising Pharmacist, Prior Authorizations in formulary management including, but not limited to: overseeing the prior authorization process, utilization review reporting, pharmacy and therapeutics committee activities, communication with physicians and pharmacists, administration of appeals and grievances, and communication with staff on departmental policies and procedures

Job Summary

  • The Clinical Review Pharmacist shall assist the Supervising Pharmacist, Prior Authorizations in formulary management including, but not limited to: overseeing the prior authorization process, utilization review reporting, pharmacy and therapeutics committee activities, communication with physicians and pharmacists, administration of appeals and grievances, and communication with staff on departmental policies and procedures.
  • On call duties are a requirement of the job.
  • In addition to base compensation, associates may be eligible for a scorecard incentive, full range of benefits and generous paid time off.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • licensed to practice pharmacy in New York
  • Five (5) years of pharmacy experience
  • PC and windows skills required
