Job Summary
This role involves providing technical leadership in the analysis of piping, supports, and in-line components for CANDU projects.
The position requires performing complex thermal, fatigue, and seismic analyses in strict accordance with ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code requirements.
Candidates will interface with regulatory bodies such as TSSA, ISCIR, CNCAN, and CNSC while guiding designers and engineers on critical technical matters.

Must-have
Finite element technique modeling
ASME BPVC Section III Div.1 compliance
PIPESTRESS software proficiency
Thermal fatigue seismic analysis
Pressure boundary component design
Nice-to-have
AUTOPIPE software experience
CANDU piping system knowledge
GTStrudl or MCPLAK familiarity
ASME Appendix XXIII qualification
CSA N285 regulatory standards
Key Requirements
Engineering Degree in Mechanical from accredited university
Registration as Professional Engineer in Ontario (PEO)
Minimum 15 years experience in piping/pipe support analysis
Must have PIPESTRESS software experience
Qualified or eligible for ASME Appendix XXIII preferred
Work Rights
Professional Engineer registration in Ontario required
