This role supports the Magnet Systems Department by fabricating, assembling, repairing, and modifying accelerator magnets used within the Department of Energy complex.
Candidates must be able to safely work with hazardous materials including cryogens, high noise levels, oxygen deficiency hazards, and radiation.

Experience with hand and power tools
Knowledge of magnet production procedures

Experience in DOE laboratory environment
Willingness to work rotating shifts
Strong written and verbal communication
Cranes and forklift operator certification
Key Requirements
HS degree or technical certificate plus 5+ years experience
3+ years experience at a DOE laboratory preferred
Must obtain HSPD-12 PIV credential via federal background check
