Job Summary
This full-time nocturnist position consists of a 14-hour shift (5p-7a) as the sole-provider in-house with physician back-up available.
The APP will be responsible for accepting and admitting children from outside hospitals and the in-house pediatric emergency department, answering cross-cover calls or Haiku messages, performing reassessments at bedside, responding to pediatric rapid response alerts, and providing virtual consultations to regional ED sites.

Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Approved to practice in North Carolina
Must have or be eligible for DEA license
Masters Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required (NP Applicants)
Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required (PA Applicants)
Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred (PA Applicants)
