This role supports the Experimental Systems Group in producing spare parts for commercial applications and advanced space programs like the X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle.
The position requires setting up and operating lathes, milling machines, and CMM equipment to exacting tolerances while verifying first-part correctness before production runs.
Candidates must be able to pass a propellant and SCAPE physical training assessment and hold an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

10+ years manual and CNC machine setup experience
Precision measuring tools operation expertise
Blueprint interpretation and GD&T compliance
First article inspection and approval authority
MDI and N/C program loading capabilities

Fabrication of aerospace parts background
MESci software familiarity
Emergent machining environment adaptability
CATIA and NX engineering data proficiency
Key Requirements
