Job Summary

  • As a Principal Flight Test Engineer, you will determine and develop various approaches to achieve T&E goals, managing and guiding the technical efforts of flight test engineers and control room personnel.
  • This position will focus heavily on new aircraft development, with emphasis on envelope expansion, flying qualities, and vehicle autonomy, supervising a team that will author test plans and execute test events.
  • You will facilitate and lead technical interactions between disparate engineering teams, coordinate across T&E IPT members, and directly contribute to engineering reviews, often facilitating discussions between Anduril and customer representatives.

Key Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience as test conductor/director
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent engineering experience
  • Experience with manned and/or unmanned aircraft development
  • Knowledge of DCMA INST 8210, MIL-STD-516, 14 CFR
  • Working knowledge of National Airspace System and UAS rules
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret-Level security clearance
