Job Summary

• We are seeking a driven and detail oriented experienced Sourcing engineer to join our team to source, evaluate, negotiate, and purchase with suppliers to achieve optimal quality, delivery and cost to meet our customers’ needs.
• Responsibilities include coordinating activities involved with procuring goods and services for machined parts, raw material, and outside services while maintaining strong collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• The incumbent will be based at our Bangalore office and will report into Design Manager-Valves and take directions from Director of Sourcing & Procurement – Valves in Houston.

Key Requirements

• BE in Mechanical Engineering
• 4 to 6 years buyer experience in valve or heavy manufacturing
• Experience buying castings, fabricated and machined parts
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems
• CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus
• 2 years capacity and materials planning experience preferred
