The Security Officer enforces safety and security rules, conducts inspections, investigates incidents, and participates in emergency preparedness drills to ensure a safe environment.
Employees must maintain certifications, work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays, and be prepared to report for duty during disasters as Team A Essential Personnel.

Key Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
1 year security, law enforcement, or military experience
Certified Police Officer Standard Training Academy completion
Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Certification or Military Police equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Valid Louisiana driver’s license with clean DMV report
Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) and firearms training
IAHSS Certification within 90 days of hire
Successful completion of FTO Program within 60 days
