Job Summary
The Research Financial Analyst is responsible for financial management within the Office of Research Administration, supporting the financial oversight of clinical trials across the health system.
This role works closely with the Research Finance management, Finance team, and the clinical research team to manage the complete financial life cycle of clinical trials—from study startup through closeout.
The Research Financial Analyst ensures that study closeout is completed in accordance with departmental procedures and prepares financial reports as needed.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or health administration
5 years job-related experience
Four or more additional years of experience in clinical research, medical billing/coding, healthcare compliance/auditing, or equivalent experience in accounting/finance in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience working with clinical trials or healthcare financial data
Five years of experience managing high‑volume Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations
