Job Summary
The Medical Coding Auditor is responsible for reviewing medical coding accuracy and documentation integrity, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, payer guidelines, and internal policies.
Key responsibilities include performing coding audits, completing compliance accuracy score tracking, trending, and monitoring, and providing feedback and education to billers, coders, and providers.
The role requires a strong background in Microsoft Office applications and experience with EMR/EHR systems, encoders, and auditing tools.
