Key Requirements
High School Diploma / GED required
Certified by Arkansas Law Enforcement Standards Training Academy or become certified within one year
At least 21 years of age
Current and valid Arkansas driver’s license
Able to pass a medical physical examination
Able to pass a psychological examination
Ability to walk 8 to 12 miles in an 8-to-12-hour shift
Ability to climb stairwells
