Riverfallspa is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in managing nursing staff and ensuring high-quality resident care in a long-term care facility. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 3-5 years of nurse management experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with a focus on regulatory compliance and staff supervision

Job Summary

  • Assists the Director of Nursing in directing activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel whom provide health care and nursing services to residents on a 24-hour, 7day per week basis.
  • Works with the DON to recruit, hire and train nursing staff, and assists with employee appraisals and resolving problems including disciplinary action.
  • Assists the DON in the design, implementation and evaluation of nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintains and promotes resident rights.
