Job Summary
The Medical Director directs and oversees the medical components of the Hospice patient care program to ensure high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered end-of-life care.
This role requires providing written certification that a patient's life expectancy is six months or less and participating in the establishment and review of patient plans of care every fifteen days.
The position serves as a 24-hour consultant to attending physicians and the Interdisciplinary Group while ensuring hospice services align with regulatory requirements and hospice philosophy.
