Job Summary

  • This position offers hands-on experience in production welding processes, procedure development, and quality control within the U.S. Navy's Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence.
  • Candidates must be able to clearly communicate technical issues to external and internal customers while working in a high-paced team-oriented production environment.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Currently enrolled in Welding Engineering program
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA required
  • Basic understanding of GMAW GTAW FCAW processes
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Proficiency in MS Office products

Nice-to-have

  • Familiarity with robotic welding programming
  • Active participation in American Welding Society
  • Previous experience in metal fabrication environment
  • Demonstrated project and time management skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and self-motivation

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's program enrollment in Welding Engineering or Technology
  • Completion of Fourth Semester of discipline-specific Engineering Curriculum
  • US Person Status proof required
  • No felony convictions of Theft/Deception/Violent crimes within seven years
  • No felony convictions of Drug crimes within three years
