Job Summary
The intern will work alongside senior engineers on real-world projects to support parameter development and material maturity teams.
This position offers hands-on experience in production welding processes, procedure development, and quality control within the U.S. Navy's Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence.
Candidates must be able to clearly communicate technical issues to external and internal customers while working in a high-paced team-oriented production environment.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Currently enrolled in Welding Engineering program
Minimum 2.0 GPA required
Basic understanding of GMAW GTAW FCAW processes
Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
Proficiency in MS Office products
Nice-to-have
Familiarity with robotic welding programming
Active participation in American Welding Society
Previous experience in metal fabrication environment
Demonstrated project and time management skills
Strong sense of ownership and self-motivation
Key Requirements
Bachelor's program enrollment in Welding Engineering or Technology
Completion of Fourth Semester of discipline-specific Engineering Curriculum
US Person Status proof required
No felony convictions of Theft/Deception/Violent crimes within seven years
No felony convictions of Drug crimes within three years
