The Infection Prevention Nurse (LVN) is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring the facility’s Infection Prevention and Control Program in accordance with federal, state, local, and corporate regulations.
This role ensures compliance with CDC, OSHA, and public health requirements while supporting resident safety, employee health, and quality outcomes in the skilled nursing environment.
Responsibilities include administrative functions, surveillance, reporting, investigation, committee participation, personnel and employee health, nursing care, staff development, and care plan assistance.
