The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is seeking an Accreditation and Compliance Manager for its prison system. The role involves overseeing the accreditation process for state prisons, managing compliance with regulations, and supervising a team of compliance managers

Job Summary

  • The Division of Institutions Administration, Programs and Standards directs the Department of Adult Correction’s efforts in policy and procedure development, audit processes, PREA guidelines, and American Correctional Associate accreditation for state prisons.
  • This position will be responsible for expanding and managing the Accreditation and Compliance Section and overseeing the process to gain ACA (American Correctional Association) accreditation for all prisons across the state.
  • This position will provide direct supervision to a staff of Accreditation and Compliance managers with statewide responsibility to conduct comprehensive performance/program evaluations and assessments of every prison and every operational discipline.
