Prepare materials and assist during welding, sectioning, polishing, and etching cross sections for evaluation of weld procedure qualifications and welder performance qualifications.
Plan the sequence of operations, conduct testing, document data, and advise engineers on project progress and recommendations.
Provide troubleshooting assistance for production equipment, processes, or procedures and participate in root cause analysis investigations.

Key Requirements
US citizenship required
Ability to obtain DOD security clearance
High school degree plus formal welding training
Minimum of two years' experience as Manufacturing Laboratory Technician – Class A or equivalent
Knowledge of machinery including drill press, lathe, milling machine, hand tools, welding and brazing equipment
