Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Avionics Integration engineering support
  • Experience with MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429
  • Top Secret security clearance required
  • Flight test support and anomaly resolution
  • Development of system safety documents
  • Supplier management of avionics equipment

Nice-to-have

  • Communication, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management experience
  • System modeling and requirements management tools
  • Performance Based Navigation certification experience
  • Experience with RTCA DO-178/254/200/160 standards
  • Confluence and Jira familiarity
  • Leadership skills and technical rigor

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline
  • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in STEM discipline
  • 2 to 5 years related professional/military engineering experience
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Experience with MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, Ethernet protocols
  • U.S. Citizenship required
