Job Summary

  • This job assists the Invasive Cardiologist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, demonstrating leadership in collaboration with co-workers to achieve efficient and cost-effective functioning of the department.
  • Integrates knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral vascular physiology, pathophysiology, and procedural techniques, maintains expertise in current radiographic imagery techniques, and anticipates adverse reactions/conditions during procedures.
  • Orients inexperienced staff on equipment operation, troubleshoots malfunctions, and completes required documentation for procedures, including regulatory, billing, and image storage protocols.

  • Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) OR Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) OR Radiography (R) OR Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) certification
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification
  • ACLS certification
  • CPR certification
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting
