Job Summary
The role supports the modernization of Uzbekistan's hydro-meteorological observation network to enhance resilience against climate-induced hazards.
The incumbent will coordinate technical activities including the upgrading of observation systems and strengthening forecasting capacities for floods, mudflows, and landslides.
This position is part of a joint project with the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Agency for Hydrometeorological Service to implement impact-based multi-hazard early warning systems.
