Job Summary

  • This position has responsibility for day-to-day financial management of the Department’s grants including drawing down cash for federal reimbursement, grants reconciliations, preparing federal reports, and Cash Management Improvement Act (CMIA) reporting.
  • Responsibilities include identifying, researching, and addressing reconciliation variances, reviewing general ledger reports to identify red flags, and monthly, quarterly, and annual grant reporting to both state and federal agencies.
  • The Division of Agency Financial Services performs all state-level financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and accounting services for the Department of Public Instruction, ensuring initiatives are carried out in a fiscally responsible and effective manner.
