Job Summary

  • This role serves as the key leader responsible for guiding customers through the deployment lifecycle and ensuring successful implementation of Workday products within the Higher Education sector.
  • The Engagement Manager will manage a portfolio of concurrent project engagements, including external customer-facing deployments and internal initiatives, while maintaining budget profitability.
  • Candidates must demonstrate executive presence to present at Steering Committee meetings, resolve critical issues, and ensure clients adopt Workday best practices throughout the implementation.

Salary

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 6+ years project managing Enterprise ERP solutions
  • Experience implementing Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, or Ellucian
  • Working knowledge of HCM, Financials, or SIS business areas
  • Prior consulting experience with internal or external consulting firms
  • Managing medium to large enterprise deployments in Higher Education

  • Business development and service sales experience
  • Executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills for steering committee presentations
  • Ability to position additional service offerings to clients

Key Requirements

  • Sr Engagement Manager (P4) level qualification
  • Principal Engagement Manager (P5) level qualification
  • 6+ years of demonstrable ERP project management experience
  • 8+ years of demonstrable ERP project management experience for P5
  • 4+ years working knowledge of specific business areas
