Zayo is seeking a State and Local Tax Manager to oversee all aspects of Zayo’s state and local income tax reporting, planning, and controversy while working to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities include managing day-to-day activities of the state and local tax function, reviewing tax accrual workpapers, owning apportionment and taxable income modifications, and managing state and local income tax audits.
The role requires a CPA license, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, a minimum of 6 years of work experience in income taxation, and strong understanding of corporate state and local compliance.
