Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Use of lathes and milling machines
  • Perform precision machining from blueprints
  • Operate shop equipment including cranes and forklifts
  • Follow safety rules and LOTO procedures
  • Work in inside and outside environmental conditions
  • Perform routine maintenance and assist maintenance personnel

Nice-to-have

  • Collaborate effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Key Requirements

  • Machinist Apprenticeship or AAS degree in Machining Technology
  • 1 – 3 years fabrication and welding experience in heavy industry
  • Valid Colorado Drivers License
  • Ability to obtain and maintain OSHA 10 and equipment certifications
  • Qualified candidates must demonstrate proficiency through testing
