Job Summary
This position has leadership responsibility for multiple direct reports and will work collaboratively with various team members of Perioperative Services.
Responsible for the proper care and handling of all general and specialty instrumentation including the cleaning, decontamination, disassemble/reassembly, budget, quality assurance, instrument identification, set assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instrumentation.

Key Requirements
High school diploma/GED or equivalent
National certification as a SPD Technician
Three years as a sterile processing technician
Proficient and working knowledge in area of service
