Under general supervision of licensed physicians, performs and/or assists in performing all routine mammographic examinations in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures
Job Summary
Under general supervision of licensed physicians, performs and/or assists in performing all routine mammographic examinations in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
Sets up, adjusts, and operates mammography equipment, selecting proper technical factors to obtain accurate diagnostic images; properly positions and immobilizes patients.
Performs weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual mammography QC testing and ensures good working order of equipment.
